our history
Founded with a passion for the Western way of life, with 50 years of production experience, 406 Rodeo was built to provide a place where tradition, family, and the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls could come together. What began as a small group of rodeo families in Montana has grown into a premier organization dedicated to preserving the spirit of rodeo while giving youth and amateur competitors the chance to chase their dreams.
From bucking chutes to open arenas, 406 Rodeo has hosted events that celebrate grit, sportsmanship, and community. Over the years, we’ve partnered with outstanding stock contractors, ranches, and rodeo associations to bring top-quality events to towns across the West. Our mission has always been simple: keep rodeo alive, give young athletes a platform to shine, and create a family-friendly environment where fans and competitors alike feel at home.
Today, 406 Rodeo stands proud as a leader in youth and amateur rodeo production—offering events that prepare contestants for the next level, while never losing sight of our roots in hard work, respect, and Western heritage.
